I am a Greek-Australian design psychology theorist and practitioner. I am an Associate Professor in Design at Griffith University and
hold a Bachelor degree with Honours in Psychology and a PhD in Architecture.
My research activities are focused on establishing design psychology as a new field of
knowledge. This, grounded in a critical synthesis of theories from various schools of
thought and research projects on repair, community-led behavioural change, adaptation
and social resilience. My research work has been published in journals and books and
supported by grants and consultancies. In terms of my practical work, I have
collaborated as a researcher and consultant with a number of international, national and
local NGOs, Queensland Government and Brisbane City Council.
