About

I am a Greek-Australian design psychologist and senior lecturer at Queensland College of Art and Design, Griffith University. I hold a Bachelor degree with Honours in Psychology and a PhD in Architecture.

My research activities are focused on establishing design psychology as a new field of knowledge. This, grounded in a critical synthesis of theories from various schools of thought and research projects on repair, community-led behavioural change, adaptation and social resilience. My research work has been published in journals and books and supported by grants and consultancies. In terms of my practical work, I have collaborated as a researcher and consultant with a number of international, national and local NGOs, Queensland Government and Brisbane City Council. Since 2021, I have been working as a Research Lead and social impact evaluator with Tammy Brennan for Testimony Arts, a for purpose organisation. In 2022, I was awarded the Public Engagement Award by the Australasian Council of Deans of Arts, Social Sciences and Humanities for Testimony Arts’ flagship initiative ‘Creative Industries, Social Enterprise, Repair and Restoration’ (CISERR).
